Join the next Swimming365 ten-week program – starting Monday 10 October
Swimming365 is an aquatic exercise program for the prevention and management of type 2 diabetes. The program is now in its second year and has been providing significant benefits to the health of participants. We currently have about 50 participants within the Swimming 365 program.
Swimming365 is designed for people with, or at risk of, type 2 diabetes. The program provides professional water aerobics instruction, swimming lessons and instruction on advanced swimming technique, presentations on diet and nutrition, and morning teas provided per program to encourage social interaction.
All sessions will be conducted by an accredited exercise physiologist and high-performance swimming coach from the UWA Exercise & Performance Centre.
